About ForgePoint Cyber

Engineering-first CMMC readiness advice.

ForgePoint Cyber works in the gap between what CMMC requires, how your environment actually runs, what your MSP and vendors provide, and what leadership needs to decide. We turn those into clear scope, explicit responsibilities and a plan you can stand behind.

Who does the work

ForgePoint is a practitioner-led firm. Every engagement is scoped and delivered by a Cyber AB Registered Practitioner Advanced with two decades in technical IT and cybersecurity. The person who scopes your engagement is the person who does the work. Nothing is handed off to a junior analyst after the sale.

If an engagement needs more engineering capacity, any senior engineer we bring in works under NDA, follows the same delivery rules, and is named in your SOW before they start.

Credentials

Three seats at the CMMC table

Our approach comes from sitting in each of the three seats that every CMMC decision touches:

  • The business owner paying for compliance and making the budget calls
  • The MSP that has to deliver what the SSP promises
  • The security vendor whose platforms have to produce evidence an assessor will accept

That's why requirements get traced to how your systems and providers actually work, responsibilities get assigned in a way your MSP can deliver, and documentation reflects real evidence instead of templates.

Areas of depth

  • CMMC Level 2 readiness and NIST SP 800-171
  • Shared responsibility across clients, MSPs and vendors
  • Zero trust and SASE
  • SIEM, MDR and EDR deployment
  • Identity, endpoint, cloud and network security
  • MSP operations, onboarding and partner enablement

Our operating philosophy

  • Scope first. Spend second.
  • Advisory before implementation.
  • Documentation must describe reality.
  • MSPs should be supported, not blindsided.
  • Readiness is not the same as certification.
  • Vendor-neutral guidance protects the buyer.

What ForgePoint Cyber is not

  • Not an official CMMC assessor or C3PAO.
  • Not a law firm or legal advisor.
  • Not a managed IT provider or tool reseller, and never an account holder in your systems.
  • Not a template-only compliance shortcut.
  • Not a fear-based cyber marketing shop.
