Privacy notice

LAST UPDATED NOV 6, 2026

This notice explains what ForgePoint Cyber LLC ("ForgePoint", "we") collects through forgepointcyber.com and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you use a form or email us: your name, work email, company and your message.
  • Free tools. When you unlock a free tool's report or download, we record your name, work email and company, which tool you used and when, and the next step it suggested. The Level 2 Self-Check and the Level 2 Program Calendar ask for your name and work email only, not your company. Your answers, and any names or labels you type into a tool (such as service or client nicknames), aren't stored: they stay in your browser and are used only to build the PDF you download.
  • Level 2 Self-Check. Your readiness band appears in your browser before you give us anything. If you ask for your three largest gaps, we keep your name, work email, readiness band, score, three largest gaps, platform, the suggested next step and the date, so we can email your result. We don't keep your individual answers: they stay in your browser tab for the session and are never sent to us.
  • How you found us. If you arrive from another website or through one of our tagged links (for example from LinkedIn or YouTube), we note the link's campaign tags, the first page you opened and the referring site. This is kept only in your browser tab, with no cookie, and is sent with a form only if you submit one, so we can see which channels are useful.
  • Booking details. If you book a conversation, Microsoft Bookings collects the details you enter there, under Microsoft's privacy terms.
  • Basic usage data. Anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no third-party cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our host for security and reliability.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, how you arrived, which free tools, downloads and booking links are used, and general device and location information. On the Level 2 Self-Check it also counts, anonymously, when someone starts, which question number they reach and when they finish, so we can see where people stop; it never receives your answers. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell one visit from the next, and Google doesn't log or store IP addresses in it. We don't use it for advertising.

What we don't want

Please don't send controlled unclassified information (CUI), contracts, credentials or security evidence through any form or email on this site. If an engagement needs evidence, we agree a client-approved route for it first.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, arrange conversations and send what you asked for, such as a self-check result or a download.
  • To keep a record of our business conversations with you.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.

We don't sell your information, and the site runs no advertising scripts.

Who processes it for us

  • HubSpot: our CRM. Form submissions are sent there from our server.
  • Microsoft 365: email and bookings.
  • Vercel: website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
  • Google: Google Analytics, under Google's privacy terms.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries and contact records that don't lead to an engagement: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
  • Email list and download requests: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Client records: for the length of the engagement, then for as long as our agreements and tax and business-record laws require, typically up to seven years.

We act on deletion requests within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, at contact@forgepointcyber.com. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.

To stop Google Analytics, block cookies for this site in your browser or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Changes

We'll update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
