If you know a defense contractor or two who needs to get ready for CMMC Level 2, this is for you. Here's how the ForgePoint referral program works, top to bottom.
First, the question everyone asks: how much do I get paid? When someone you introduce becomes a client, you receive 10 percent of their first paid engagement, up to $2,500. They pay our normal price. Your fee comes from us, not from them.
To give you real numbers: if they start with Microsoft 365 Hardening, you receive $500. A Level 2 Readiness Assessment pays you $1,250. The SSP and POA and M Buildout pays $1,250. And the Fractional CMMC Program Lead pays $2,250. If they start small and move up to a bigger engagement within 12 months, we top you up.
How you get paid is up to you: straight to your checking account, or to your debit card, through Stripe. You're paid on the 15th of the month after your client pays us. And every week you'll get an email showing everyone you referred and where they stand, from introduced, all the way to fee paid.
Getting started takes five steps, and there's nothing to pay or set up. One: fill in the short form and sign the agreement. A personal email is fine, and you don't need a tax ID to join. Two: you get your code, which is just your initials, and your link is thatcmmcguy.com slash your initials. Three: share it, or make a warm introduction with the introduce-a-contractor form. Four: watch it move in your weekly email. Five: get paid.
There's also a partner bonus. If you know someone who'd make a good referral partner, have them enter your code when they apply. When their first referral becomes a client, you get a one-time $250. One level only.
There's one rule. Tell people you may be paid, before or as you recommend us. Something like: "Full disclosure: I get a referral fee from ForgePoint if you hire them. It doesn't change your price."
And the fine print, in plain words: the company has to be new to us, and you have to be the first to introduce them. The introduction counts for 12 months. Who referred a client never changes what we find. Don't promise certification outcomes. And C3PAOs, assessors and government employees can't join.
That's it. Hit the red button, sign up, and let's get your first introduction moving. Thanks for doing this.
What you receive
10% of their first paid engagement, up to $2,500.
| If they start with | You receive |

One fee per new client, paid in one go once they've paid in full (monthly work: after their first 3 months). If they start with a small first step such as Microsoft 365 Hardening and move up within 12 months, we top you up to what the bigger engagement pays. Clients can take the fee as a credit on their next ForgePoint invoice instead.

Partner bonus
Know someone who'd make a good partner? $250 when they land their first client.
Friends and colleagues don't need to work in the industry, just know defense contractors. When they apply, they enter your code. Once their first referral becomes a client, you receive a one-time $250 bonus. One level only: no cut of their later referrals, and nothing on anyone they bring in.
The one rule
Tell people you may be paid.
When you recommend us, say so before or as you do:
“Full disclosure: I get a referral fee from ForgePoint if you hire them. It doesn't change your price.”
In posts, newsletters or videos, put this right next to the link: “I get a referral fee from ForgePoint Cyber if you become a client.”
The fine print, in plain words
Fair to you, fair to the client.
- The company must be new to us, and you must be the first to introduce them. The introduction counts for 12 months.
- Who referred a client never affects what we find. You see only their company name and its status, never their details.
- Don't promise certification outcomes or speak for ForgePoint.
- C3PAOs, CMMC assessors and government workers can't join, and you can't refer your own employer.
- The full terms are in the Referral Agreement.
